Awesome video! You running the stock Bridgestone's or did you change the tires out? Track days are so much fun.

It has Metzeler Tourance NEXT tires with 3K on them and they’re ok. I wanted Continental Road Attack 2 EVOs but couldn’t get them in time for the 12K service. The Dunlop TR91 I had before I liked better. The stock Bridgestones were also ok. I ride canyons mostly and occasionally ride fire roads.

Was talking to a co-worker about doing a track day with him but then we concluded that the S10 can't do track days. We're obviously very, very, very wrong.

You passed him ::012::
People don't realize what a semi experienced track rider can do with the Tenere.
I went riding 2UP with a friend's 2012 Tenere. I met with a group of street oriented sport riders and I had no issues keeping up and much more.
I am also an advanced Track rider, but I keep my 15 year old SV650S for that.
I am trying to sell my Tiger 800 and get the 2014/15 ES. My GF loves the Tenere on the back. It gives her much more confidence than the Tiger.

VERY nice TS, this is my new favorite video!! I imagine you must need to hang way off to keep the grinding to a minimum, what did you find dragging at that angle? Also, were you using tc1, 2 or off? How about your suspension? I see the front preload looks about stock with tubes up some. How about the shock?...and your weight?...

Finally, you suck!...Big Willow and it seems with very few bikes on track, looks like a great day of it. ::012:: That GSXR at 15:15 should watch and learn your line..looking good out there!!!

I'm bringing mine this season, can't wait.

2:02 your lap timer? that was left sitting by the clutch mc falls down but luckily caught by the cables/wire loom. Did it ever hit pavement or continued to stay there?

@gaps – I wouldn’t say I was hanging way off. I move my lower body a little over but my upper body more. I hit the foot pegs a few times. One of those turns has a crest so when I went over it I often grinded the right foot peg. The suspension had a basic track day set up (sag and compression/rebound adjustments) and then I had the forks raise 10 mm. That made a nice difference. The turn in is a lot easier and faster. My weight is around 160 lb.

I wanted to pass the gsxr sooner but I was cautious since I rode to the track and needed to ride back.

@TimLaw – yeah, that was my foot pegs. It’s happened before but still not used to it. I’m thinking of getting new springs that are a little stiffer, maybe the HyperPro that are progressive.

@SilverBullet – that’s a GoPro remote that I meant to use to start the video but I forgot about it. Didn’t lose it as it was strapped to clutch mc.

Cool vid. I wish the camera sight line was a little higher.

I've never seen a Super Tenere "race" before. It was (only) a track day, but still kind of exciting. I got the feeling I get when riding through some twisty mountain roads and come up on traffic. The urge to pass gets your pulse going.

Can you do track days 2-up? I'm mean, it's a Super Tenere after all. ::001::

I don't think you can 2up on a track day unless you personally know the staff or you're the passenger on a pro's bike for a lap or two.

Just found this video and thought it was the greatest thing, glad you posted and showed even more of what the ST can do.

Smooth riding too! ::001::
