I know this is not Tenere related.......................but it is a Yamaha.
Thought some of you might enjoy it.
This trip happened last August (1st thru 19th), a month and a half before I bought my Super-Ten.
Took me awhile to go through all the pictures and route tracks, but I finally got something done with it.
(part-2 won't take nearly as long)

Sucks to lose your buddy. Happened to me in Colorado last year. Continuing alone is half the fun, but glad he rejoined.
Any chance you have the route on a map? The satellite image is hard to follow. Looks like a great route.

I have all the tracks from each day saved as GPX and KML files.

They are too large to load into Google-Maps (there is a file-size limit) so I had to use Google-Earth.
I probably could have done better with something different.

Part-2 is up.
Ron and I had a couple of our special friends from Canada come over and meet us in Port Angeles.
They spent a couple days with us while we were up there.
