Touratech Seat

I bought a second hand TT seat which was great but it recently broke so TT sent me a brand new replacement, but the new one is rock hard and very uncomfortable.
I have emailed the company that makes them but they can't tell me if the seat will get any better or not with time!
Anyone had any experience with these?
I still have the old seat so may end up putting it back on.

I bought a Touratech seat for my GS and promptly left home on a 500 mile ride. That silly thing was a torture device. I offed it two days later.

I have one and it does get better with time. I have about 5K miles on mine and now it's great, for me at least. My last trip I didn't even take my trusty air hawk and I had no problems, rode about 2k miles.

By locator post you mean the tongue? Does your seat slide around?
