I just got back from TT weekend. It was a great time with approx 200 bikes there, mostly beemers though. The rally was [aired with the Overland group of over 75 vehicles as well. I was able to make this video of a saturday morning ride. Sorry there isn't editing and or music, just riding. It was shot heading out of Plain, WA heading up CHumSTick mountain area north of Cashmere, WA.

Caution, the last 2 minutes of the video can be turned off, as I was sitting there waiting on the rest of the riders to catch up. Enjoy!!

OH, this bike is Fricken Awesome!!!!!

Very beautiful and looks like fun but... too much anxiety for me. Watched 2 minutes and shut it down.

Was it the narrow road? It was wide enough for a Toyota Tacoma or something. I don't know if you could tell, but it was steep. It took us 20 minutes to half hour to get up the hill where it leveled off.
I think it would be more exciting if I did clips of the whole route instead of just one long section as I did. That way it keeps it moving for viewers. I haven't yet learned to edit much. I think it is time i learn.

I want to go places like this with the wife in truck at times, but she doesn't like the drop offs so close.

it was off the charts, and so far the hardest riding I have done, as well as fastest. I would of been able to do more routes if i hadn't of taken the 3 hour PSSOR advanced class Friday morning, but I needed it for sure. I really needed the aspect of dumping the bike on the logs while riding and not hurting anything on the bike. This was peace of mind for sure. I had reservations of this part. I am also getting a regular improved feeling riding off road. I am feeling better in many ways and that helps too.
IN my mind, I still have reservations of TT's label of Expert rides, they included some single track I think. I didn't want to go there. The intermediate ride I went on was more advanced then ALTrider HOH ride last year with narrower steeper hill climbs and tighter switchbacks as well.
After riding one of the intermediate routes, Ian from TT did say to me, that I could do some of the harder sections of ttheir rides.
I still shake my head on that, as I don't think 10k miles on a K60 is a wise thing. Where are the big blocks?

So Mike, how are the Kenda's working for you with wear? how many miles have you gone so far on them?

Pretty cool, Jeff. You were clipping! Geez. So you think that the K60's were a bit squirrely?
What did the other riders think of your fully farkled ST? Looks like you were leading the pack.
