Top cases with a passenger

What are some of the better, more comfortable top cases to have for a pillion? My wife wants to do more longer rides with me and we are looking for suggestions for top cases that can have a back rest etc. that will be comfortable for her. Being able to hold a couple helmets in when we are stopped would be great also.

I can’t say which are the better to have and there are people on here who’ve tried and proven all the brands out there and there’s heaps of threads about it.
I’d just say to not limit yourself to those which have backrests as you can add them to almost anything.

I think you'll get tons of answers which will mostly be different from each other. Will have a lot to do with the actual set up.

This week I switched out my givi mounting plate for a givi universal one which is roughly 1.5" lower and 2" more rearward giving the wife more usable seat moving her back and gives me more space. We have not gone for a ride with the new set up yet but the math checks out.
I have the givi maxia 52l. I had to remove some foam from the backrest pad as it was pushing the wife to far forward, hopefully its still good now that the box itself is further back.

Prince George! I was just up there last month on a ride from Portland to Anchorage (don't tell anyone but I wasn't on my ST). I wasn't able to take the Alcan due to the fires, but stayed the night in Prince George before finally committing to the Cassiar. Lil Ava's Pizza....that was awesome!
