front seat was killing my tailbone. couldn't find a comfy spot, I've got a 32" inseam and a 30 waist so I had plenty of room to move back and fouth on, but just couldn't get comfy, so I made a appointment with my mom at her upholstery shop to try and make it better.

a lot of what I did I took from http://www.diymotorcycleseat.com/comfort.htm website

after removing the cover I went to work grinding out the old foam.

next I added a layer of firm open cell foam and put a small piece of foam in front to force me to sit back onto the wider part of the seat,

last was a layer of 1\2 soft foam to smooth out the layers and where the closed cell didn't like to be cut

I then took it for a 30 min ride and now I'm sitting lower, more narrower in the front .in a more kicked back position to the rear, although it's a very firmer ride .i'll find out later if I like it, if not i'll just rip it all off and start over again.

but now the old cover didn't work, so mom took out some cloth and went to making a pattern.I picked out some red for the welt and a dark grey for the sides

on the passanger's seat we just added a layer of 1" softer than stock foam, but after talking to my wife I might have to widen it a bit with some firmer foam. she told me her tail bone would hurt too.
