Not sure about 50/50, but I think most on here are going to suggest the K60's. I run the Anakee 2 and they are just fine on the dirt, but are designed for more street use.

Yeah.... All you going to get here is K60. I'm too looking for a good "allarounder" tire and getting kind of conflicting reports on them. Good luck

K60 is 1st 50/50 tire I've tried and I'm sold . I have about 1000 miles on a set . Back tire is great , no vibration to speak of . The front
gives some vibration / wiggle at 2/5 mph then again in the low twentys then acts normal at higher speeds . People say front smooth out after a couple
thousand miles and I believe them because front is smoother now than when it was new . I'm planning to stay with these .

I've got 3,500+ miles on my K60's now and more than pleased. Perfect choice for the Yukon Rally trip. Looks like they will easily last for my 8-9K trip.

I am currently on a 10 day family outing in Utah in the high pines. Have done a combo of highway and off-road on the stock Metzlers. It didn't take me long to realize the stock tires were not very good on the hard packed ground when there is dirt and rocks on the surface.

In defense of the tires, I did not air them down at all. Running 33F and 36R is not helping my cause off road. I am gonna lower the PSI significantly and see if it helps. I will then file this experience in my "newbie" file.

From all the reading of the tire threads, I think I am gonna go with the K60's. I will gladly trade a little vibration on the highway for significant traction improvement off-road.

Naw, not even close....... There can be more mud-slinging on a good heated oil thread than the best off road tire could ever hope for!!!

Thanks for the info. Has anybody used a KENDA Big Block Tire The boys from down under are raving about these tires because the casing is bullet proof and claiming approx 4500 k per set, @ $80.00 per tire.

I think Eemsreno runs them and loves them. 2500 miles a tire IIRC.

I'm digging my Mita E09's. Great off road, OK on road. Only got a 1000 miles on em. Too early to guess on mileage.

Agreed.
I was kinda being sarcastic, as we've had so many tire threads already and there are a couple of active ones currently.
Be nice if they could be combined or grouped by type.

The site has grown in membership immensely in membership and content since I joined no less than six months ago. Probably time to combine some threads and sticky them. Also reiterate the search function. Ok, sorry I went off topic. Back to tires. My next set will probably be the K60s. Have not researched the Kendas, so I'm no help to you there.
