Just a heads up on Mefo Tires.
Mefo Tire Deal
Mefo Tire Deal
FYI I'm 6000 miles in on that Dunlop deal. Like the tires, not much difference between them and the stock battlewings in feel. Still in stock at chap, might order another set after I see how these hold up at 10-15,000.I have a set of Dunlop Trailmax (purhased at a crazy low price from Chaparral several months ago) sitting on the rack waiting for the Shinko 705s to wear out. I'm still sorely tempted to get a set of these for the next change. I need a bigger tire rack. Now if I had a spare set of wheels like I did for the VStrom...1 setup for on road, 1 for off.

In just over a month, you've finished off the Dunlops and then put 6,700 on the Mefos? .At 6,700 miles on mine.
No, Mefos? I am speaking only to the dunlops. I must have got mixed up on thread and posted in the wrong one somehow? In just over a month, you've finished off the Dunlops and then put 6,700 on the Mefos? .
Dang I never looked at the rating before. I had it up to 110 mph by the gps in Utah last summer. Speedo was reading close to 125 mph.Anybody who tests the 99 mph speed rating of this type of tire should probably rethink their choices.
