162 will give us some NF dirt roads from Stonyford to Laytonville.
After that is Branscomb Road to Hwy 1 and followed by Leggett or this can be reversed.
Etna to Somes Bar. More than one way with all busy and beautiful. (one of them would be new to me)
Weitechpec over Bald Hills Road to Orick. (new to me)
96 to Scott Bar via Scott River Road to Fort Jones.
NF1 between 36 and 299 (new to me)(have missed it twice because of snow in May and June)
Indian Creek Road between Happy Camp and O'Brien OR (again missed it because of snow)
So many more.
A lot of those sound familiar....some not. Will have to whip out some (gasp!) maps.... ::025:: and check it out..... We'll probably have to wait until May....weather rolling in next week. Keep in mind we do NOT have to make it epic.... a simple overnight ride over some local North roads can keep me sane...although I DO snore and fart (a lot....)... ::025::

BTW....back off from Google maps....!!!!!! Yer pissin' me off...... ::025::

Good stuff guys. If there's one thing I remember most about driving in Cali it's the 'LEO density.' That sure looks like some great riding though, and it looks like you guys know where to go to avoid the tickets. I suppose that's another benefit of having a bike that can handle the 'roads less traveled.'
