Is there a procedure for balancing the throttle bodies on the s10? I have recently bought a 2012 S10 and intend doing the servicing myself,i know and have balanced the throttle bodies on previous bikes with a coventional cable/linkage setup, lastly on my 955i Tiger.I have a set of 4 column Morgan carbtune guages but not sure of the procedure on the S10,any info appreciated.

Search is your friend. TBS is the top post in the Power & Exhaust sub-forum, plus it's stickied.

First, you might check the CO setting and may want to adjust it. That is on the same list of stickied resource threads.

fwiw - Just did my 2014 yesterday and like the prior 2012, it was similarly dead easy. Nice surprise was that at 11,000 miles it really didn't need it. Also fwiw, the white painted reference screw was on the right (some Gen2 owners found theirs to be the left) and I found the factory set it to 1/8 turn. Based on the TBS thread findings of others, I opened it a quarter turn, set the left side to balance, and the engine does seem to come off of idle a touch smoother.

Thanks for the replies, the utube vid made things clearer as i wasn't sure which cylinder would be the reference on but i see it's the one with the white paint on the adjustment screw.
