Perhaps 500 km of gravel in that. Previous bike was/is V Strom 1000. The more I ride the S 10 the more I like it. Brakes are awesome ( trust the linked ABS in the gravel) it just stops no fuss no muss, good power delivery from 2000 up. On road handling is confidence inspiring holds a line well nothing upsets it. Range is easily 100 km per tank better than V Strom sorry wee strom guys I am averaging 55 mpg imperial in all kinds of riding from 1st gear rough gravel to 130 k on freeway. Took the V out for a spin this afternoon to compare. The only thing that is better on the Suzuki is the seat. I do like the sound of the V engine better but the Tenere above 4000 has a nice growl as well. The tenere is a keeper. Yes another V Strom soon for sale.
