The rest is whatever. Lot of safety crap.

Yeah I'm curious if I will fit. I'm solo so shedding 100lbs + would't be horrible. I doubt it tho looks smaller.

It's one of the bikes on my "what will I eventually replace the S10 with?" list. The only personal downsides are the chain drive and the advanced electronics package. It might entail shopping for an older Pre-Plus model. I've read lots of good things about it (and, being the internet, some bad things too like "engine is too buzzy"), but it still looks like a potential lateral move from the Super Tenere.

I would like Yamaha to update the engine ect on the 700 series. I think the Honda and Suzuki engines are leaving them behind.

How are the headlights ? The pictures make the headlights seem like they might be even worse than the Super Tenere headlights.

I test-rode one at a Yamaha Demo event here in Denver a couple seasons ago.
Love that engine! It's "Rowdy"!
The quick-shifter is addicting....
I spent about a half-hour on it, and did not find it too cramped. (I'm "Bear Sized") Riding position and controls felt like they were appropriately located for me.

I wouldn't consider it as a replacement for the S10, but if Yamaha comes out with a T9.......................Y'all better not be in my way!

I think it's more likely that they make a Tracer 10 GT using the MT-10 motor. Or maybe both. The T-12 is more of a GT than a dirt bike anyway.
