I am no JaumeV, but have had a blast on the twisties & forest roads of Washington State over the past couple of months. Still on the OEM Battlewings until they wear out, but finding that I can go a lot of places on them if careful. Don’t like the non-switchable ABS. Weird sensations a couple of times when going down some steep narrow paths with lots of ruts and baby head rocks. Other than that, I love this bike.
The snow is now flying in the mountains, so I thought I would share some pictures. Hard to select just 10 (got more if you like em). All these rides are solo and done in a morning, leaving Seattle suburbia at 6:30 or 7:00 am and back by 1 or 2 pm at the latest (in time to do the honey-do list). Perfect for a weekend ADVer who is slammed with a career during the week. This is why this bike is so perfect. To get to many of these off road places, you have to blast down the interstate, where a heavier, planted ride is appreciated - especially when the winds are howling down from the passes. Fellow Washingtonians will no doubt recognize some of these, and there is a segment of the WBDR. The wife always comments as to why the bike is often in the way of the scenery – what can I say? You guys understand. :-*

Great pics, Sam! Thank you for sharing them! You are correct. The scenery is enhanced by the Super Tenere, not diminished!

Pure Tenere Porn!! ::015::

I have more photos of my Bikes than my wife!!

It's the only relaxation I have besides playing guitar and shooting photos is exploring on my ST.

Tenere Porn - I love it! I need a cigarette after every ride (and I don't smoke!)::025::
Come on over and lets have a rally next summer. We can all meet at HoeSTer's (right Jeff?).
Originally from Bravobravo's neck of the woods, been here for 18 years, and do not take this scenery for granted.

Very nice! And I like the look of those black factory bags on the blue (best, fastest, sexiest) Tenere. Might save me some money over those Touratech things I've been eying lately.

Sam,

Great pictures. I share the joy of living in the heart of great riding country. I fear my final rides of the season are coming up this week. I will transition to skiing without a tear.

If the ABS is bothering you search this forum for "ABS off switch". It's been done by many and is easy and inexpensive.

Yes. It is pretty special. Actually, it is pretty bland. It's the bike that enhances it! ;D
As per request, here is another ten. You guys wonder how I get any riding done?
