Washing your bike is a must....you gotta make room for the new dirt....
Anyone watch Big Bang? Barry Kripke flosses his teeth JUST before he eats to make room in his tooth pockets for the new food....
Ha! That episode was just re-run last night. I agree. I am a bit obsessive about washing my bike. I really hate when it starts looking grubby. I don't mind getting it dirty, but I also can't wait to clean it again!

Also, I too am a hopeless farkle addict.

Wash hell...let us know when you polish your spokes! It's a must do for al Tenere owners. All the top notch S10 riders polish their spokes >:D
Polish your spokes? I did not know someone from Poland made spokes for the Ten....I though they were Japanese or made in Colorado by Woody... ::)

I always hear about Hardly guys doing something to their bikes with people from Poland but I still can't figure out what that is....I hose and wind dry once in a while.. ::26::

That magazine cover reminded me that my GF and bike both like to be washed, fed and rode on a regular basis ;)

Ah, the ol' bait-n-switch. I came in ready to scrap because the title had a total Roy-like theme to it. :D I WISH I could wash my bike right now because that would mean it's riding season again :'(

Sportsguy, I'm sorry if my thread had any influence on you washing your bike. I gave mine its first wash saturday and had forgotten how good it looked. it only got air dried though as I ran out of time, come sunday it was covered in water spots :'(

I stuck up a few pics as I have fitted all my farkles, (by all I mean 'purchased so far')

on the socks front... i have a few pairs of MotoGP boot socks at about 4 times the cost of what they would be without the MotoGP logo on!

It always makes me feel guilty when I read "riding season" on message boards....what is this "season" you speak of? is what I used to harass people with.
Here in Cali street bike season begins Jan 1st. and ends Dec. 31st. Dirt Bikes are weird. We are so restricted on where we can ride and most legal riding areas are in the desert or places that are quite hot in the summer. To ride anywhere cool enough to enjoy a summer ride is a long drive for most of us. Many people here consider dirt bike season to be Oct through about March or April. May through September is "River" season....Parker, Havasu, Mead....
If you ride MX tracks a lot then we ride some in the summer, but again, geared up and riding hard in 100*F + temps is less than fun.

You should feel guilty, I'd Rather be riding too, except for the Snow, Salty Roads and at times Black ICE. On the NorthEastern side of the country, it's typcially March/April to November/December depending on the weather. I have done a few New Years day rides, but the weather co-operated.

I do not even own a car....just motorcycles. My wife has a car for family needs but I use my bike for everything, everyday. Warm or cold {as cold as Cali gets...at times in the 20'sF} rain or shine, if the car is at my wife's work or out being used...I ride.
