This is not America. This is Spain in Europe. I have talked to a lawyer today. This lawyer belongs to the association who is receiving refugees from Ukraine. There are Russians coming too. She knows what she is talking about. If you are interested, please write to me. I have sent you a private message.

Finally I am at home! This is already my third or fourth home. Here I feel at home! In general, the East is constantly amazing! Hospitality, food, atmosphere. Yes, it has its problems, like everywhere else. But here the human attitude, respect for each other is valued. While on the sly I help household.

After 15 days, they made me a residence permit, as then, in 2017. Only then I could be 3 days without registration. And then, as now, they also made me for 6 months))) Here in Uzbekistan, the whole spirit of the East can be felt in the bazaar))

It looks like there are some beautiful places in Tashkent and I'm happy you are at least safe. Looking forward to hearing more of your travels and eventually reconnecting with your wife.

Hi all! Thanks to one "Man", who gave me a chance to feel what it's like to work for 350 rubles a day. Yes, not just work, but work non-stop for 9 hours. Now I appreciate cotton even more))

My dad was a cotton farmer for 50 years. We stopped hand picking in the early 60's or so. I got a good taste of it when I was a little kid. Serious work and rough on the hands. We had cotton sacks about 6 feet long. We made 50 cents an hour. My dad had the first one row picker around here. It was like magic. Good luck. Wish you well.

Unganch is a bit Soviet Era concrete - I think that must be the newly opened Jaloliddin Manguberdy's memorial complex.

Khiva looks fascinating, very historic, but I guess you have other priorities for the time being.

Yes, he is the Jalolirddy))) Unfortunately, the priorities have changed. We wait, we hope. I want to say a huge thank you to one forum member from Spain for the proposed help. Yes, and for your support)))

That one must be me. You are welcome at any time. If your decision is staying in Uzbekistan, then best of lucks to you!

I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that Uzbekistan is also on Putin’s “take back” wish list.
