Apparently "Ecu Failure" is not a failure of the ecu itself. It must be the way it is indicated on the dashboard that there is a fault with the bike. Although the link is from the Super Duke, due to another type of failure, which was not something from the suspension, as in your case, it showed “ecu failure” on the dashboard…….

On my second long tour with the SAS I've realized the theme doesn't change. This is the perfect bike...I am just too stupid to own it.

I never have a bike issue...the bike, without any doubt, has a dumbass owner issue. 100% every issue that has ever surfaced is my fault...even if it takes me over a year to figure it out. I figured it out.

More later...

I ain't always smart.

Looks like you had a nice clear day for the ride up!
It was a perfect day. Wind gust at the top were under 40 MPH while we were there. As usual, got close to the bottom and DM told me to turn around and go enjoy. I just love riding Mt Washington. DM likes it but not to the same extent as me.

Does the KTM need to drink premium? Where are you at to pay that much per gallon?

Both the BMW and KTM call for premium. This top off somewhere in the White Mountains of NH was the most expensive ever.

I remember taking pix of the Tenere in a couple of those same spots and wondering if was safe or would be blown over. Photos just can't convey that.

I've only ever driven up Mt. Washington. I found I liked the narrative of the CD-ROM they give you at the base just to keep my mind off the edge. Didn't really like coming around a corner and getting blinded by the sun. Not much room on that road.

But I'd do it again.

The last time I went up Mt. Washington was in the '80s. Dirt road all the way up. It looks like they've paved a lot of it.

Yep, every last dirt section is gone now. Every inch paved, but some of it is very textured. DM really didn't like the rough pavement. Just felt sketchy to her.

You definitely pay attention to which was the wind is blowing when you park. Easily find the bike on the ground if you have the kickstand down on the windy side.

I've never been there at a time when the sun would be an issue. I have rounded enough corners and found some terrified driver way over into my lane trying to stay away from the edge. I've learned to expect it and hug the inside.

Looks like your on top of the world. Amazing.
That's what I love about the road. You start in lush green and 7 miles later you're riding in some bizarre other world landscape. Just look down and you'll see the old world you left behind.

Impressive video. In 2018 DM and I took The COG train to the top. Winds were so calm you could have lit a match and let it go until you burned you fingers. The air was so still it was strange. The next day I took my DR650 to the Auto Road for a ride up. They turned me around and said 'no motorcycles,' winds are too strong today. At the base of the mountain both days seemed identical.

I’ve had a lot of fun on my ‘18 SAS. The power is addicting. I haven’t put as many miles on it as I’d like to but spreading the love with 7 Bikes will do that
