If anybody's looking, Harbor Freight has their aluminum 400lb receiver mount motorcycle carrier w/ramp for $149.99. Just make sure your receiver is rated for the weight. Many are only rated for 350lb. Perfect for my Jeep, and my wife's TW 200.

Whats wrong with this picture? This was in the local fishwrap this morning:

Tucson police responded to the area of South Kolb and East Valencia Roads just after 2:30 a.m. for reports of downed motorcyclist. Tucson Fire also responded and pronounced the man, in his 20s, dead at the scene.

The man was riding a 2007 Kawasaki VN900 south on Kolb when he lost control of the bike and was thrown and struck a nearby drainage grate, Tucson police said. He was not wearing a helmet and was riding the bike on a suspended driver’s license while lacking a motorcycle endorsement.

Bold letters brought to you by Captain Obvious....

I have one and like it. It works well for my dirt bike. I bought mine a little over a year ago for $99. Inflation.

I bought one of their Yukon tool cabinets a little over a year ago for $229. 1645631164062.png They're now selling what appears to be the same cabinet for $349. But, the pull-out drawer is 1" shallower. Which means that their "old" socket tray(s) 1645631269504.png doesn't fit in the drawer anymore. Not just ordinary inflation, it's now screw the consumer inflation with "less product for more money".

the solution to that is:… 1) if you don't need it, don't buy it, 2) ask the prices of various providers before buying, 3) look for a similar product, of similar quality, from a lesser-known brand, 4) which is the worst of all (for. Inflation))…..”if you don't buy it now, the next year it will be even more expensive:)

You're right, but as far as providers go, Harbor Freight is usually the least expensive. This same toolbox is carried by several other stores by different names, and higher prices. And, yeah, I'm going to buy now since you're right about the price going up.
