Great bike. Alot has changed in the Sport bike market, 600's are all but gone and may be people buying now will be looking at the bikes from Europe more. Plus having fun on the road now is becoming more difficult due to surveilance so pushing that market towards Track Bikes. We like tech on our bikes but tech also works the other way. Not advocating hooligan riding but fun under control.

Hard to believe they couldn't/wouldn't develop a compliant motor. I remember when the GSXR first came out in '86. Swore that was my next bike. . . . until I rode one. The riding position works great on the track, but not so much around town.

I think thats the case for alot of people and now you can get performance and an upright riding position.

suzuki in the UK, are saying that the gsxr1000 is actually a very small part of the market now anyway, plus pulling out of the MOTOGP and SUPERBIKES there looking elsewhere unfortunately
