They've arrived .... Akrapovic have sent the first can over. It's on the bike at the NEC. Good news is that more are coming next week ..... bad news is that there are only two in the shipment.

They enhance performance and you can remove the baffles .... excellent. ;D

....but no pricing info......
From talking to people they seem to say the prices are generally high, not a major issue if the build quality and performance matches the outlay. Guess were find out soon enough .....
Indeed we do know the price .... £695.00. They are of an all titanium construction. I've plenty of Akaras, the latest being on the R1 and MT-01. Superb quality. Pricey but fantastic kit.

BTW I still don't think this looks particularly nice .... Paddy called the carbon end cap a 'Womble Nose' ;D

Still love to see something from Yoshi and Two Brothers 8)

Yeah I wanna see more options as well from other manufactures, like the look of Wasp's but would have to import it. Any talk about a full system yet? Although am I correct in thinking that if you go for a full system you then get in to re-mapping etc?

G'day Grunt, I am running the Remus system and very happy to date. Definite horsepower improvement
and the note without the baffles is great without needing earplugs. The bike runs a few degrees warmer
but who cares

I had a hexacone on my GS and liked it. Nice finish and sounded nice without being too loud.

No matter what you go for, you will need a forklift to get the stock sytem off, takes a few strong men to pick it up.
The Remus is not cheap but as with all exhaust upgrades you soon forget the price when your bike sounds like a
big twin should

I have always like Akrapovic exhaust. There is just something about the look that is so right. They usually sound good without being too loud, especially when used on a bike with a cat between the engine and can (I don't dig overly-loud bikes).

Oh, and make sure you say Akrapovic correctly (Ack-rap'-o-vich) unlike good ol' Pete from dirt rider Text and Video here that couldn't pronounce it correctly (and didn't even know what country he was in), then gets huffy about it and cancels the video tour. Ha.

the sound is pure heaven to my ears (even on the I4 r6)....but would i get for just the looks/sound upgrade on the S10.....not too sure...considering the multitude of horizontal riding i do.......its a talent, what can i say

Yes, none of these cans are great value. I was very happy to get Wings Ti with carbon fiber caps for my KTM 950. It is a double setup and I was able to get them for less than one of these for the XT12.

Hi All,
I am the sole Australlian & new Zealand Importer.
I am currently doing a special (unbeatable deal) for the first 50 sold S-10 sports mufflers to America.
Go to Moderfications (Click onto Aftermarket Exhaust SA) here you can hear our video & see some photos of our new muffler for the S-10.
We also do a C/Fibre with Titanium ends (possibility the lightest muffler on the market) with removable baffle in all our range.
Let us know what you think.
PS: Went to the states last year (did the family trip (Disneyland, Vegas, etc) Great country love it.
