The 660 terene

I heard from a little birdie that the 660 tenere will cost $11500 if it were to be sold in canada. they think nobody will buy a bike like that at that price.

I was also told two years ago from someone on the inside that they thought it would be about $10+K in the US... People would want to buy it, but then just walk over to buy a VStrom... Of course I asked this person, "even so, do you think you will bring it in, the answer was 'NO' "..... It would be great to have the 660 in the states but the 650 V Strom will never let it happen.. Hell, you could buy a 1000 V Strom for the same money.. I would keep my 1200, but would like to see the 660 over here.. ::008::

I saw the XT660R in Europe last year for the fist time. I thought, if a KLR looked like this back in Canada I probably would have one. I think I like it better then the XT660Z Tenere, they also have the XT660x.
