Subject to weather etc. Sounds like some severe weather warnings down south lots of rain and wind hope everyone makes it through unscathed.

I have a route I am planning on riding with some friends. It is a combination of the very best pavement and also one of the coolest dirt roads in the area. I have attached my route if anyone wants to use it or go along with us. It will also take you by the area where the elk are most likely to be seen along the Buffalo river.

Thanks for posting, Tony! That pull off area along the elk range is a great place to hang out. And, with it being a weekday, the traffic shouldn't be too bad.

It is a great area. I have many pictures of huge herds of Elk along the river. Arkansas has the most educated elk in the country. There is an elk education facility just outside of Jasper! ;D

Be advised to watch for deer at all hours of the day. I see more deer around one pm around Jasper than any other time of the day.

Don't know why I waited so long to register? I guess it's all the "living on Yukon time" I do
I left Whitehorse Sept 15th and have been touring, exploring and currently in Vegas. Was here for Nascar truck race then left to desert ride a bit then came back to visit with wife who flew in for a week or so ( she doesn't ever throw a leg over the Tenere. So we RV'd for a week then came back to Vegas for RedBull Air Races. Resting up for a few days then after putting wife on the plane to the snowy north I'll head to Arkansas . Should arrive Monday ?? Will expect a long distance award of some kind ( beer will be fine, good Scotch even better)
See everybody there
Pat

X2! I know he's going to try his hardest to make it, so hopefully the right stars align.

Now that we're down to the final days, we just spoke with Debbie at The Hub again. Getting things ramped up with the last orders for her. Magic count of attendees is up to 81 ::012::

Still some hotel rooms available if you don't wanna risk a wait in line for a warm shower and bathroom. ::008::
