The problem, in part as I see it, is that young people grew up with mobile phones, they conduct their lives while looking at the screen, rude is one aspect, they believe they can do it while driving because they can do it in all other parts of their lives. Driving is a skill they learn a lot later in life.I don't. I'm old, I never had a mobile phone when I was growing up,the first phone I had was a Motorola transportable phone with it's own suitcase ::025::.
I take driving / riding as serious business and although my riding skills can be brushed up, my driving ability is quite good, through training and age I might add. I cannot text while driving and hate it when my wife texts me when she knows I'm driving, just call me, I HAVE BLUETOOTH dammit!
I don't mind if a texter dies while doing stupid stuff, but invariably they take out some poor innocent instead.
