Going over ophir pass, my Tenere decided to take a rest. After uprighting her, I had no power. It would just rev and slightly push forward.

Got it turned around and back on asphalt. I am able to slowly give it some throttle and go...however it does no like even mildly aggressive throttle, as it just starts to rev. Even had trouble making it over some rolling mountain highways yo Telluride.

Thoughts

Is there a chance anything got knocked silly during the rest? Throttle related, cable binding? Is there a way to disconnect the battery. let sit for awhile then see if the ECU resets itself? I wonder if the Tip over sensor is being problematic, and could use a bumping of sorts.
Sorry, I am not as tech savvy as others here, just throwing out ideas, as this is odd overall.
Best of luck with this at a horrible location.

check your clutch lever. Sounds like you are holding pressure at the throwout and slipping the clutch.

Definitely sounds clutch related. Does the lever still feel normal with a little play in it as you pull it in, or does it feel tight right from the start This is a longshot, and to be fair, I've never heard of this happening, but maybe some air got in the line when you fell over. If the fluid in the clutch master cylinder was low, and the bike fell to the left and depressed the lever with the fluid hole in the M/C exposed, a little air could get trapped in there...maybe ???

FAll was on the right. The lever does feel stiff now all the way through.

If all else fails, Davis Service Center in Montrose will probably be your closest dealer. Once you get on north 550 at ridgway it's pretty flat.

Check the simple stuff. Air filter clogged?

Abs ring damage? TCS light coming on when it shuts down power?

If I am reading OP correctly the bike is not losing power. It's revving without moving forward. Sounds like clutch slipping.

Just bleed it and fluid came shooting out with no issues. Think my clutch is bye bye.

Waiting on a tow truck now for Telluride to Grand Junction.

Montrose can't get it in until Wednesday. Grand junction can take it tomorrow. Plus one of you bastards bought the last clutch kit at Montrose during the rally. ::)

Tuff luck Jonny. I would have put money on the KTM needing attention first. Hope it won't take to much out of your trip.

Symptoms sound like clutch, but I don't get how a tipover could stop the clutch working (unless there's damage to the master cylinder). Seems more like a traction control thing? If there was something wrong with a sensor, the traction control could be cutting power to the rear wheel? What happens when you disconnect the ABS? Easy way, put on centerstand, in gear, run for 30 seconds until the ABS light comes on.

No, it fell on the right side, not the left.

Oil smells like toasted metal marshmellows. Unfortunately, I forgot my graham crackers and chocolate. Ordering a new clutch tomorrow.

Jon,
sorry to hear of your dilemma. Certainly sounds like the clutch. :-(
Ophir bit me also, but fortunately I had an angel from Tennessee looking over me. ;)
I will be up in Silverton with my truck on Wednesday, if you need anything, give me a call

clutch slave is on left, clutch is on right. Just for clarification.
That makes better sense.

If you need clutch parts, let me know, I have a full set sitting in the garage to hedge bets. It took 3 weeks for those to show up...
