What is the issue, specifically?
Long story, was planning to find the correct thread to explain.
Basically while riding from San Antonio to Houston, I believe I filled up with diesel along the way.
Engine cut out, felt almost as if i was running out of gas. Power stopped immediately.
I pulled over, used a tube to funnel the fuel out of the tank. Got towed by a family friend to their house where I dumped the fuel from the fuel rail.
I tried cleaning the fuel pump, and injectors by hand, and replaced the spark plugs. I then ran the engine without the plugs to clear out any residual diesel. Then reinstalled everything, and the bike would sporadically turn over, but wouldnt hold idle. Also changed the oil for shits.
Today we were able to get the engine to run by pouring gas down the air intake, leading us to believe the issue is fuel intake related.
I replaced the fuel pump, and cleaned the injectors as seen on youtube videos. The bike turns over much more frequently now, but still wont idle.
I'm about at wits end. I'm inclined to send my injectors to a shop to get cleaned, but can't think of what else to try.
Its a 2014 Super Tenere.
Anyways I appreciate any help or advice anyone can provide.
Thanks
