Tenere Rear Turn Signals

The front turn signals on my Tenere stay on at night like running lights and when the signal is turned on they blink but the back signals just come on when you use the turn signals. Can anyone tell me if the back signal lights are supposed stay onsteady like the front? It would really make sense that thety should because it would offer about twice the illumination in the back at night. I just would like to know if they are supposed to work that way so if they should I can have it corrected under warranty.

The rears do not stay illuminated. The fronts are treated as part of the running light system. At least that's how mine are.

I put a set of front signals at the rear, tied the running light wires into my tail light. Works great!

Ya...I don't think it's legal to have any other color besides red on a PoV....

Not legal to have orange running lights on the rear. Red on the rear and orange on the front and sides.

In Tennessee rear running lights must be red. Not enforced to the extreme but it is probable cause to stop you.

So you can tell if it's coming or going.

Thanks for the info. at least now I know nothing is wrong with the wiring on my bike.
