Good Day all,

I am an old motorcyclist but a new Tenere rider. I was looking to replace my DL1000 that gave me 97,000 miles of near perfect service (one stator failure) with a new bike. I had my sights set on the new Vee2 when I came across a 2013 Super Tenere with SW motech Trax cases and 800 miles for a bargain price on craigslist. Looking forward to sorting out the Tenere. I am strictly an on road rider and am drawn to adventure bikes because it is like shopping in the big and tall department. Sport touring for big folks. One of the good things about Vstrom ownership was the excellent VSRI forum. I see the Tenere has the same support with this forum. I ride in Florida in the winter and Pennsylvania in the summer.

Glad to be aboard.

Welcome to the forum and ownership of an awesome bike.
Spent 5 days this past June in Pennsylvania.
Do you know its more than 1,500kms from Clarion to Harrisburg?
You have awesome riding there both pavement and gravel and scenery that doesn't end!
( Babbs Creek crossing at Doane Flats was one of my highlights )
Ride safe and enjoy

Eastern Pennsylvania, Near Port Jervis NY. Poconos and Catskills right here. Many of the 'paved' roads are close to gravel, but are beautiful.
