Does anyone have any experience with Teiz Motorsports riding gear - specifically their one piece riding suits?
How about one piece riding suits in general?

We just bought a used Lombard Version 3 for my wife (off of ADV.com). I am very impressed with the build and quality of the suit. It has a ton of vents and she says she gets plenty of air riding on the back. The new Lombard is up to Version 5 with many improvements. I have already decided that a Teiz one-piece will be my next suit, I'm looking at the Power Shell.

I just ordered a Power Shell that was in stock and should have it in a couple of days. Looking forward to giving it a try, I will post my impressions.

I have a Teiz Power Shell. Highly recommend it. Specifically:
1. Teiz customer service is top notch. Very responsive, you're dealing with the owner.
2. Suit specs are way above those of the reference standard one piece suit. Best materials, many thoughtful features.
3. Suit can be custom sized. They will send you a standard sized suit to try out for twenty bucks.
4. One piece suit is my preference for ease of use, ATGATT effect, ability to wear real clothes underneath.
5. Power Shell has very good ventilation.
6. Power Shell doesn't try to be waterproof or come with a pain in the neck waterproof liner. It's a cinch to throw on the Frogg Toggs over the suit.

I'm tempted to pick up a Diego for hot weather.

A friend of mine went down wearing the 1 piece Teiz (lombard?) The seams did not hold well and the it split along the leg seams. He went back to Aerostich. YMMV.

Webbikeworld had a review of the Teiz Navigator, and seemed pretty keen on it.

http://www.webbikeworld.com/r3/teiz-navigator/

The review was done in January of this year, and they mentioned that they hoped to do a review of the Power Shell in the near future. Maybe they'll give you a heads up?

I've looked at one piece riding suits many times over the years, but have always bought two piece suits - actually, Areostitch Dariens are all I've owned, though I'm looking at KLIM and RevIT as possible replacements in the next year or two . This is my 3rd Darien, and it's performance, especially compared to its two predecessors, has been disappointing. I like the extra ATGATT of a one piece, but prefer the flexibility of the two piece - being able to remove the jacket and walk into a restaurant, do side of the road repairs, or just wear the jacket to stay dry when you're camping and it starts to rain, etc. Also, with all the armor the one piece suits don't fit into panniers as easily when you want to leave the suit behind and walk around a bit.

I had a one piece 'Stitch for years and got used to the blue Power Ranger or Poppa Smurf jokes. I really liked the one piece for commuting and Iron Butt kinda stuff, but hated it for pretty much anything else. Go into a restaurant and you can't just hang it on a chair without taking up all sorts of space. With my big boots, I generally had to take at least one off, doing the parking lot shuffle. Couldn't mix & match if I wanted to with mesh jacket & solid pants. Etc.

The Tiez's are really nice looking and great in price. I've heard a couple people finding that their leakage is a pain, but then old 'Stitches leak in the crotch. Don't overlook their regular jackets & pants, too.

I'm happy with the couple of jackets and versions of pants I have now, mostly from First Gear. As mentioned, I can mix & match.

I have a Lombard V3. It's a very stout heavy suit. I wear it all season long as my commuter gear. It definately is not waterproof. After about 20 minutes of rain you're going to be soaked. I just throw a set of frog toggs on. In the summer as long as you're moving it vents really well. The best part is its don/doff in less than a minute. The only problem I've had is the Velcro on the sleeves to clinch down the wrist went south.
For street rides it's my go to gear.
