Okay, I've looked at multiple posts regarding tankbags for the S10 so, let me ask what tank bag are most folks impressed with? Bought a new S10 and want something in the 15-25ltr. range.

Thanks!

I have an older Cortech magnetic tank bag, can only guess it's around 15L. Works fine and no complaints but nothing really impressive about it either. The sloped and convex shape of the tank makes tank bags a little awkward on the S10. Too big of a bag tends to get top heavy when fully loaded and wants to fall to the side. Also for me, much bigger than 15L and tends to either interfere with handle bars in sharp turns or obscure view of gauges. :(

Bags-Connection City model, available through Twisted Throttle as SW-Motech EVO Quick Lock. They make an electrified model as well. Their GS model is quite huge. They fit the slope of our tanks perfectly.

Givi tanklock. XS308. I also put an extra ring on the rear rack and clip on a tanklock XS306 bag there. I can choose then if out for just the day to use a rear rack bag (flat bottomed) up on the tank. (I also have other non Givi bags that I have attached the ring to so I can easily attach those also eg. bike security chain and others).

Great system.

Rings and locking rings can be brought seperately.

I use a very small Givi bag with the tank lock , to hold things like wallet, glasses, cell phone etc. This has a strap and I carry it around strapped over my shoulders. For long rides I use the Yamaha magnetic tank bag (the one specific for the S10)

Here is a great review of the XS308. My iPad air 2 with a 9.7" screen fits in it perfectly.

I'm really happy with the Mosko Moto tank bag. Pretty handy kit.
I've been searching as well for the perfect tank bag to fit my needs. Mosko Moto has my interest. Do you have any pics of the Mosko on your S10?

What are the squares on the top of the bag? A bunch of elastic straps? Do you use them?

What do you do with the add on clear map pocket when not in use? Does it fit in bag? Looks huge. :(

How large is the hydration bag pocket? Work well?

Bag stay put on bike?

Thanks!

My 13 came with a Givi tank bag equipped with a tank ring and I love it ! Very easy to remove for fueling or to carry it inside if I choose to.
I’ve used magnetic bags in the past and they worked fine but for some reason I highly prefer the tank ring deal.
Never had a strap on bag and don’t think I would like them much.

I'll answer some of your questions. The bag fits well on the bike, I'll try and add a photo. It ties down solidly and doesn't move around on the bike. Where it comes in contact with the tank it has a foam backing and I've detected no scratches from SW Texas sand in the couple of months I've had it. The loops on the top are nylon and the map pocket threads through them with snaps on two straps. Other things can be attached, but not if the map pocket is on. I carry the map pocket in a side bag, I haven't had that much use for maps. The water bladder pocket also doubles as a place for a concealed weapon, not sure if it would work with a full water bladder. Again, I haven't used the water bladder, so really can't comment on how useful it is. It's easy to mount and dismount and I really like the way it doubles as a day pack. The bag is sectioned and that helps to keep junk from accumulating. Good quality materials are used and I think it will last a long time.

Yep, I like it. Thanks for the pic. Too lazy to carry a gun, but I'm a hydration addict. Like the multi layer.
