those would be coming from WASP Greg in Australia. Send him a personal message and he can get you hooked up. He is great to work with, half way around the world.

Seems like we're getting a new enough crowd aboard now that don't know the story of the Tuareg Peoples and the Tenere portion of the Sahara Desert, and how it all relates to the Paris/Dakar and Yamaha. "Masked guy", sheesh. ::010::

Nah, I only do the colored side faring and tank decals. I think pmcwil619 was talking about the Tenere man on the rear centre of the tank.

Didnt Jaxon produce some of these at one stage..?

Greg.

Mine, like the one above, is a "tank protector" obtained from my Yamaha dealer, I think I paid $23 for it.

yeah, my wife hates the thought of me having some turban wrapped thing on my motorcycle. I just say, they are nomadic people living in the desert region of the Sahara.

Not in the USA, only Europa and Asia!!! We have to goto Tabasco Jaxon from here. Jaxon's doesn't have the word Tenere on it like the Yamaha one does!!! I am not knocking Jaxons one, just mentioning facts.

Damned Trade Mark. Ran into this years ago with the Royal Star. Yamaha usually does a good job of tying things up tight.

Last week I ordered mine on-line along with the OEM headlight guard form www.kellyscyclecentre.com. Ontario, Canada. PN: 23PW07900000 for the Tank Pad. PN: 23PH41050010 for the Headlight Guard. Order was shipped within 48 hours and should arrive this week.
