I am installing a fuseblock for my accessories and I am looking for a place to tap into switched power. I have searched the forum, but didn't find what I was looking for. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.
I am looking for a switched power source on the right side in the battery area.

Thanks in advance for any help.

There are one or two unused accessory plugs under the side cover. They're switched.

RH side, up behind the amazing Yamaha toolkit, you will find the OE aux light connector with a switched live.

Ignore the 4 pole connector which is for heated grips; it's even there if you have an ES/ZE with has heated grips already.

I am assuming you are just needing a switched 12V source to trigger a relay to provide switched power through your fuseblock.

As Don in Lodi and Squibb said, there are two unused plugs/connectors that come on a new bike.
These are the OEM Aux Light Plug (3 pin) and OEM Heated Grip Plug (4 pin). These will have dust covers over the connectors.
They are located in the area shown in your picture above.
Here is a better picture of that area - link

Using the fuel tank bolt as a reference in the picture, look straight across to the far right side of all the electrics, there are two large black boots with some wiring bundles running through them.
The two connectors are in one of these boots, I don't remember which one.

I used the 3 pin connector for a 12V switched trigger to my fuse box relay.

OEM Aux Light Plug (3 pin) ......(You just need to use the brown and black wires to connect to the fuse box relay.)
Red/white - 12v unswitched power (20 amp fuse)
Brown - 12v switched power from ECU
Black - Ground

I don't see in your profile what bike you have but be aware that some of the wiring is different between Gen1 and Gen2 bikes.

Thanks for the information. I got it all done and working. Did find the the three prong plug had the wires cut from the connector by previous owner.

The plug was still there? That part that looked like the wires were cut is just a blind place holder. If you buy the wire pins for your new harness you can use that place holder as a 'factory' connector.
