I don't have one of those. But I will say that I've been disappointed with most of the SW Motech products I've purchased. Based on my experience with the crash bars and the luggage rack I think I'm done buying SW Motech. Can't say anything in particular bad about the skid plate from them, but I think my overall experience has soured me on the brand.

I have the first version of the SW Motech rack. It's very well built, bolts on solid to the bike and looks good. It is an excellent replacement to the stock plastic rack. If you mounting a top case, make sure it's specific, stay away from any "universal" adapter plates.

Otherwise no complaints.

I have the sw motech plate in the grey color. it is solid and strong. easy install. I have a givi e450 trunk box mounted on it. no issues, but I don't have any miles on the bike yet.

I have the SW Motech steel rack in black. Works perfectly and I love it. I use it with the Trax top case most of the time and it delivers as promised.

The Hepco rack has a space underneath for a small tool roll to be strapped in. Pretty nice.
