This is the first installment on my project to hang two 1.75 gallon RotoPax on a set of SW Motech pannier racks. I hand hewed some 1/8" aluminum plate and will attach the RotoPax mounting hardware to the appropriate spot on the plates. I don't have the RotoPax yet and will post more when I set them up.

My plan is to run soft bags, probably a Great Basin Giant Loop when I am hauling lots of fuel. Should lay right over the RotoPax. This set-up is for remote rides like the North Canol and Nahanni Range Road. I may also use Caribou Pelican cases on the racks when not needing all that extra fuel.

Looks great. Can you show a photo with the soft panniers on top?
I`m thinking about having one gallon or the 1.75 on the non muffler side to make the width symmetrical and balance the weight since you got the muffler on the other side to compensate, maybe 1.75 Gallon will be to much though.
Also need a mounting plate that can attach above my TraX side pannier adaptors but that is a small problem. Should be great with my Magadan soft panniers.
