For quick trips for a fifth the price, I use the waterproof dry bag from my kayak. Here's a source for dry bags and waterproof duffels:

Thanks guys but wanted to know people's experience with this specific saddlebag.

I think they will work for what I need but have not been able to find any reviews of these bags......... ::)

I think I'm going with these bags, they are less than half of any hard set of bags and considering I don't do touring on my S10 this is a good option for me......
