I know, I know, they say Suzuki on them, but I believe they are made by Trax. So in theory I should be able to buy racks and use these boxes. However, the wide box is on the left side and the narrow box is on the right side because of the Vstroms right side exhaust. So my question is, can I mount these on opposite sides?

Depends on what the mounting rack system was used on the Suzuki, but generally most cases are interchangeable and will fit on the opposite side.

I had a DL 1000. As long as the rack is compatible with the bag, the bag does not care what side it is on. I have no idea if Suzuki has changed their supplier over the years or not

I have 2 different sized Givi's on my 15 Super Ten. If I had to do it again, I would opt for the same size on both sides

Twisted Throttle shows the boxes as left or right in differing sizes & finish. The latch position is the key to which side.
