Evening!

So I've put on about 800 miles on my new 2015 Super T. Around the 600ish mile mark I noticed that I could flat foot more than usual. I also noticed that it was a little bit easier to swing my leg over the bike from when I originally purchased it. I had actually mentioned it to my boss who could barley touch with the ball of his feet. He can now pretty much flat foot it, its not 100% flat but about 90% there. Today I noticed that I can completely flat foot the bike without leaning it to one side or another. Before if I had the bike straight up right I could swing my feet in the air.

Is this normal??? It feels like the bike has lowered a pretty substantial amount. I actually have a picture of myself standing next to it in my garage. I'm going to try to get my daughter to help me out Tuesday and take another picture to see if its all in my head or not....

During that 600 mile service, did you or the tech take the seat off and perhaps place it inbthe lower position, whereas it was on the higher position previously? Just a thought

Nope, I actually had it in the lower setting. When I walk up to the bike it just looks like its sitting lower... I dunno maybe its just all in my head, the picture will give a better idea I think. Just was not sure if this was something common...

Did you soften the rear suspension preload?
Is the rear tyre well inflated?
There's no way the rear spring sagged after only 800 miles.

Which model year bike? I remember reading that the Gen 2 ES models sometimes settle after being switched off at the key.

I've not messed with the suspension from the dealer at all. I don't fully understand the correct way to set the suspension which I know i need to get adjusted. Friend of mine used to know someone that would come to your house here in San Diego for $40.

I have just the normal non ES model, 2015. When I get home tonight I'm going to have my daughter take the picture again. Maybe its just all in my head and I've just gotten used to the big bike.

When you rode it home new from the dealer were you wearing jeans and now mounting and straddling it with riding pants? Makes a huge difference for me as jeans are not cut liberal enough in the crotch like riding pants are. Also street shoes before and now boots? Dimilar difference.

So I think its just all in my head or maybe the dealer softened the rear some. I know they do go out and test drive the bikes after they are done working on them. Although I'd really hope that they would not mess with a bike suspension....

Read through the post and still confused on setting my suspension lol Think I'm going to try and do it this weekend, otherwise I'm going to try and find someone local that can do it for me.
