I did a search and found a lot of articles regarding suspension. I don't do much off road, very little in fact. When I have gone off road I noticed a clicking sound when going over rough terrain. Is that normal? I have gone through the suspension set up and have adjusted it this way and that. Still not much difference. Is this normal?

It can be up front, from loose steering bearings, loose top triple clamp nut, loose triple clamp bolts that hold on the fork tubes. I have had to tighten the steering head bearings twice, and the triple clamp nut once.

In back, I had a swingarm that was machined too narrow, so a spacer inside the swingarm pivot seal got it right. The swingarm would move from left to right until I fixed it. Check for loose fasteners all over the rear suspension. Unfortunately, there will always be some noise, like the calipers wiggling on their mounts (normal), the brake pads jiggling, etc.

What MarkR said! Loosen the top nut under the rubber cover and then loosen the top triple off the forks. Tighten the steering nuts under the triple clamp. They are most likely loose. Then retighten the nut on top of the triple clamp and tighten the triple clamp to the forks in that order. Should cure your problem even if you don't think they are loose.

My crossover the top of the fender front break line does this noise, it sits in that clip loop and bounces on the top of the fender on bouncy stuff.
