Super Tenere Test Ride

I have 2 street bikes, a Honda GL1800 and a Kawasaki KLR650. I was at the Laughlin River Run on April 29th and Yamaha was at the river run offering test rides. I rode the Super Tenere on a 10 mile loop and I loved it and I want one. I liked the seating position, the power was very good and the brakes were fantastic. The Yamaha employees were saying that you can still get on the list if you look around. I live in Southern California and does anyone have any advice on getting on the list, I plan on talking to my local dealer tomorrow.
