Super Tenere Rally Arkansas, 2020

Should the Rally be canceled, kept in April or moved to later, such as September?

BigBob - We gots to find PIE!
Patrick where is that BBQ place with the good pie? Place I learned a ride requires pie for lunch.

That was lunch the day I destroyed my rotator cuff. Had to use left hand to put right on the throttle! At highway speed with the cruise control on I could use my hand as a wing and fly it back up!

I'll be tenting from 21Apr - 26Apr19. I'm hoping that I can lend a hand with any set-up getting ready for the official start. I'd be interested in:
1. helping to procure raffle items
2. helping to identify what to do/see in the area
3. helping with mapping (I like to use mapmyride.com - I bicycle too - to lay out routes)

I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!

Reserved a spot for my toy hauler and will get there on Wednesday and leave on Monday.

My plan right now is to drive up from Arizona with Limey, both of us on the way home.

And since Gunner is coming I will have the big ass cooler for community use!

Wife and I will be camping, It sounds like no need to reserve if in a tent, Is that correct Checkswreck?

I,m also planning to ride back down there soon and take some pictures and look around better.

That is the place! Great pie and BBQ.

But I do not want to take the same country road as last time!!
Have to get there early to get pie. It goes fast. Last time I was there the cook was dipping Skoal or Copenhagen and a little boy brought his box turtle to everyone’s table so they could pet it. Never had BBQ there but they have good burgers. Just never know what you’ll see in there.

Well Bobby,

Backwoods BBQ was one of them, it is closed last I checked, but Oark Cafe is just down the street from Byrds outdoor ADV center. LOwgao is good as Gunner stated.

Pencil me in. I should have no problem making this.

Anyone else from the SE want to ride up together? I'm just north of Atlanta.
If you are planning on riding via Birmingham, we can ride together.
