Hello everyone,
I got dual exhaust in my 2014 super tenere after seeing the one here in the forum. I believe the metallic blue one was down in Brazil. I really liked and decided to do on mine. I look at his blue print and had my muffler shop build the pipe for me. I got some slip on tips and it looks/sounds great! Besides they are much lighter than the original mooonster original muffler! Super stoked with the results of my project and it cost me under 500 bucks! Not joking! I also got rid of the rear fender piece by cutting it with a sharp blade. (Got to take your time and cut it slowly following the contour of the tail light. I bought a fender reducer lic. Plate holder and inverted it in order to fit above the tail light, where the luggage grille sits. Since i am a single rider and never use it, my luggage sits over the rear sit so the bike actually became shorter length. I didnt like how in the blue tenere, the pipes sat a bit too much out, so i was particular about flowing rhe lines of the frame in which gave it a meaner looks and skinnier. It feels great and looks tits!! Sounds awesome too!! The fact that it is more in into the bike, i can still tight all my soft dry specs paneer and luggage without a hard frame.

Hello everyone,
My post yesterday had no pics for some reason. My bad! Here they are.
The fender was reduced completely using a sharp blade (hot knife works too, but messy) I used a fender reducer kit upside down with some custom in order too fit above where the old grille was. Yay!! You're real. In my defense, your very first post was consistent with the modus operandi of our recent spammers.

Welcome from Texas.

I do like the look of dual exhaust. Akrapovics are gorgeous. I just don't like the price of it. My concern of your set up is heat on the light/tail portion of the bike. Other than than, good job.

Thank you, thank you.
I put lots of thoughts regarding the position of the tips as I wanted the mean looks but also being able to attach my soft panniers without any hard frame. The tips get hot but the co2 that comes from it would be either when you are ridding or if the bike would be idling for quite bit which won't happen. No. Not enough heat to cause any damage to the tail. Also I can still carry a passenger. Just dont like the looks of 2 giant tips sticking too far out.

Great job on the bike! I wish sound clips did bikes justice but they just don't sound right on the internet. I would love to hear that in person. I bet it is mean sounding.

Welcome aboard! Like Sierra1 said, we have had some spammers recently join, and they make a post very similar to yours. Since you're new here, I would recommend posting in the New Member Intro section, and also update your profile to include your location (doesn't have to be too specific, most use city/state or region).

If you need any assistance here, let myself or Checkswrecks know, as we are your current moderating team.
