Ouch!

Was supposed to be 108 today though the Delta Breeze kicked in... only 104 but the humidity was humid.

We were between 5 and 10%. Our little humidity hits when it drops down to 105-108 usually first part of July. I saw several bikes running around today while I was in my air conditioned truck

This will be my first summer riding in the heat without Kevlar. We only get to 106ish, but the humidity will be in the 40% range. But, I will be riding throughout the summer. ::001::

I don't know who to feel bad for, you guys in that terrible heat, or myself during a 4 months winter where temperatures get to -20c or more in the winter... Ice and wind so cold that it cuts through your clothes and freezes you to the bone. I don't know which is worse.

All I know is, this is the first year I've had air conditioning at my house and I absolutely love it. Been more then 10 years since I could sit inside and actually not suffer.

Yep, Las Vegas reached its overall record high temp for the only the 4th time yesterday...117*. Although out in Boulder City (where ei live), I saw 118 in the shade...and humidity has been around 1-5%

I think I'd rather live in the dry heat and have awesome winter temps than live somewhere with riding seasons. I'm going riding tomorrow, but leaving with the sunrise. Tall pines and cooler temps are hour and a half away. Lots of trails.

Mr. Geek. I remember stopping in Boulder City for breakfast once at a little diner that had the best green chile omelets. My wife found it with Siri on her iphone.

I'm with you. I couldn't put up with RicoChet's weather. Bob, you must be going up towards Flagstaff with that description. I lived in Page AZ in the '70s, and revisited in '14. Considering the amount of years, not much had changed. Same fantastic weather; finally convinced my wife that a dry heat was much better.

I sold my cabin in Munds Park (19 miles south of Flag) last year. I like riding around that area. Eating lunch in Mormon Lake, swing up to Snowbowl. I'll hang out in the hills till later, then do re-entry when the sun sets. I'll wear my cool-vest coming down the hill. I've been here since 3rd grade originally from Cali. Love the heat and that's where my grandkids live.

I did not want to deal with the heat so I rode to Bridgeport via Sonora Pass. Staying three nights and enjoying the new rides. Returning home the long(er) way https://goo.gl/maps/j1GaXDgwFZn

We just got home today from riding up around lower Lake Superior for a week. We wore our heated vest most of three days, in the 50sF a lot of the time. 60sF the rest of the time.
It's about 70 here at home now.

I was on Lake Superior last early July. I wished I had my bike then. We went back in September to Sault ste Marie Canada to ride a train, then wandered around UP for a while. Great weather then...just not my kind of winter 8)

Today is around 110 with 10% humidity. 115 this weekend :( It's like putting your head in an oven with a dried up pan of water. I rode all day yesterday and saw a lot of bikes out.

I just got back from San Diego over the weekend, and while the temps were awesome, I've found that even the coastal humidity is too much for me. I've completely dried out in the 10 years since I moved out of SoCal...

I agree with the humidity, that's the only thing I can't stand to be in. I don't go to my house in Rocky Point in the summer because of the humidity...and it's a block from the beach.
Heading north to go camping in cooler weather with my grandson today. 8)
