I am thinking of buying myself a topcase but if it is wider than 40cm you can't open the standard sidecases anymore. Are there aftermarket brackets to eighter higher the mounting plate or to put it more backwards so you can still use the sidecases?
Suit lager topcases on rear.

there are some side cases that open from the sides, so the size of the top box isn't an issue
I know that you can buy other sidecases but I own the original Yamaha ones and I won't buy an other set just becouse of that problem. I will leave te topcase then.

I mounted the topcase bracket 4 cm towards rear than it supposed to and now I'm using Hepco&Becker Explorer 45 without issues...
