A metal block moves the footpads out about 1.5" each and the drag bar is welded to the back of it.

The best way to ride a bike with a trailer is to do it while you have a car tire mounted to the rear and you simultaneously refuse to wave at any other motorcycle riders. That way you can make a clean sweep of the "Internet Motorcycle Forum Outrage Trifecta" and get all the points.

Trailer, Darkside, No-wave---"Internet Motorcycle Forum Outrage Trifecta" LOL!!!
Good one RC, I love it!!

Take a 12 day trip sometime with a passenger, with all the gear that entails, through multiple climates, and a trailer starts sounding a lot better than packed-full panniers, tankbags, and crap bungee-corded to the bike. I don't know if I'd ever do it, but the practicality of it under certain circumstances does start to make sense.

Pulling a trailer isn't all that bad, prep for the corners a bit soon and pull out hard as usual. I have a Bushtec as the 1911's pulled behind my 07 FJR, I'm 71 and thinking my camping days are getting close to over except for the fact that I want to pull the Bushtec behind the Ten for one more AK trip. I'd certainly like to see the pictures at attach points of the foot pegs for Imagineering my own hitch.
