Stupid question about the two oil drain bolts

Btw, I pulled the drain plugs the night before just after getting back from a long ride. When I pulled off the filter in the morning, no oil spillage from it at all. ::008::


Does anyone really go 12,000 miles between oil filter changes like the service manual recommends? I thought 6,000 miles was long enough (actually 5K in my case) and changed it at the same time I changed the oil.

I'm not sure what the fuss is about by only changing the filter every second change. Most people don't change their fuel filter every tank full.

I plugged in the 2 new DIMPLE magnetic plugs at my last change.

They were identical in length and dimensions.
