We got to brand new '14's a few weeks ago and both have nearly 500 miles on them.

I've noticed that when on the center stand and moving the back tire, it drags a little...like on the brake shoes. Wondering if this is normal since they are new, or do I have do defective bikes? :D

Normal. If you can just spin the wheels by hand, no problem. Disc brakes almost always drag a little, even on my mountainbike and I can hardly feel it while riding. Enjoy your bikes. S10 is an awesome bike, great choice!

Mine does that too, it's a combination of the pads slightly rubbing and the drag of the bevelbox of the shaft drive. My former Guzzi Stelvio was the same.

All of the 30+ disc brake motorcycles I'ved owned always had some brake drag… Even my "exotic" TZ250 race bike...
