I am having some issues with a sticking throttle.
Lubricated the throttle cables today (32,000 and haven’t done this before) with Yamaha Silicone Spray Lubricant. Lubricant didn’t come out of the end of the cable. Not sure if I need more?
The lower (adjustable) throttle cable seemed too short during reinstallation but worked it out. At first it starting sticking when the bars were turned to the right (from sitting position). I found a snag in the cable line and fixed it and also adjusted the cable. After adjustments, it is now sticking when the bars are turned to the left.
What am I missing?
Disclaimer - don’t have a ton of experience with mechanical work so hoping it is something simple.
