Stickers.....

Haven't even had a chance to put a single mile on my bike yet, its killing me. I got to have fusion 3 vertebrae first, and 1 disk replaced and one repaired. But that is my problem.

But I was able to push the bike out to the driveway today and put two stickers on it. Hey I know its not much compared to all you other guys. I envy you. God, I wish I was on the road with the wind in my face sharing it with you guys. My Raven is itching to fly!!

I will update more pics because, I over build everything (from my mountain bike days) so if it goes down, it will get right back up and keep rocking.

So here is my first pick..

Had a guy tap me on the shoulder in a Sub-Way the other day... He said he was a fan of the BMW but had not ever seen this "NEW COOL" BMW...
I never interrupted and just waited till he got done telling me how he loves BMW and how this new model out side was really cool..... After he paused, I told him its the new YAMAHA.... LOL ::018::

Seriously? The guys loves BMW but can't recognize the difference in badges? Or, did you unbadge the Tenere?

While waiting at a red light at Indy near the speedway, two guys in a car asked me if it was an Aprillia. I pointed at the Yamaha emblem on the fairing side.

I had the same thing happen to me when I had my V Strom-a lot.

It must be a "if it's not a Harley, it's a BMW", kind of thing. I dunno...

After I put the stickers on, I did a 200 mile run for final break-in and had a guy walk up to me at a gas station look at it and say "Yamaha, huh?". I wanted to say "No. BMW.", but I bit my tongue.

I've never bought a BMW, but pretty much every motorcycle I've ever had has been regularly mistaken for one. I suspect the Super10 will be no different.

It's not a Harley, it's not a Wing, and it's not a sportbike, so it's weird, right? And whose Bikes are Made Weird? Add in the cordura gear I often wear while traveling and I must be a BMW rider.

Or maybe it is due to the matte black Givis.

At a gas station Saturday afternoon, a guy asked if mine was a Buell. But he was nice and appreciated it, he once had a Yamaha too.

He was on the other side of the pump so probably couldn't even see the badge. And the only place it says Yamaha is on one side of the engine.

Until I get my Wasp decals on...
