2013 Tenere, 50k miles
I haven't ridden the Tenere in a few weeks due to travel, so yesterday I decided to ride down to the beach and go for a run. The bike started right up and idled fine, I got on and at the first stop sign I noticed that the bike was idling very low and it stalled out. I hit the starter and away we went, the bike ran fine again but I could tell it was idling low.
I made it to the bottom of the hill and it stalled at the stop light. The bike wouldn't restart so I rolled over to the curb. Noticed a "60" on the display. Tried holding the throttle open but it would only crank over and had no signs of trying to start. Fortunately I have a Kendon trailer at the house, got the bike home and put it on the trickle charger while I went running.
This morning with a fully charged battery, the bike would start with a bit of throttle input but wouldn't keep running. I started it a few times, but it just won't hold an idle. I tightened down the Kaoko throttle lock and it runs fine until I release it.
Code 60 is related to the throttle servo motor I believe? Has anyone had similar issues and figured something out? I haven't been under the tank for 10k miles or more. I'm about due for the next valve adjust, but I'd like to go into it with a good running bike before adding a bunch of variables.
