So I was riding to work this morning and did a 5 min, high speed (90 mph) run then came to a stop at a light. When the light to turn green, pulled the clutch, put it into 1st and rolled on some throttle..........the bike stalled?? WTF

Anybody experience this before?

This is the second time it happened. The bike has 975 miles on it.............

TIA

Had nothing to do with the high speed run.

Has a LOT to do with it being new and having low mileage.

Without trying to pinpoint the cause or solution, just know that I can confidently predict it will be a thing of the past soon.
Keep riding it. :)

Bike is soooo much better at around 4000-6000 miles on it. For lots of reasons.

Totally agree with Snake. Used to do it a lot. Somewhere about 2K I adjusted to the bike and/or it broke in.

Agree with the above, mine had a couple of unexpected stalls while it was fairly new and now with a few miles on it's not done it again. Stick with it ::008::

Im telling my kids that there are folks in this world that agreed with me. (They won't believe or agree with that claim, however)

Your experience reminds me of a 1980's Honda XL 600 (dual sport) that I bought brand new, It was kick start only, and that engine was so tight for the first 1000 miles I could swear it squeaked at idle. It would easily stall at lights, and I would be kicking and kicking that bastard in traffic until it finally broke in.
