Damn fine riding. You got to the other side with all of your fingers and toes. That's all that really matters.

LOL... not planning on doing that particular section anytime soon but will explore other nearby county roads as time permits. It's 200+ miles from Dallas to my parents place so not something I can do quickly and have a job.. LOL

Here's a general map of the area in case anyone wants to post a 'here's how you're supposed to do it' video...

I am really looking forward to getting into the Talimena area this year. It looks like it has a real treasure chest of dual sport opportunities and a lot closer than heading to CO! I've been doing Talimena Trail since the 80's but have never done these unpaved portions. And there's camping all around there too I think.

Nice vid mellow. That rocky section looks like a bigger challenge than any I did in CO.

Be sure to check out the Cassatot River near Mean AR. if you get the chance. It's beautiful around the water falls and plenty of logging roads. Never road a motorcycle their but have been their often back during my kayaking days.

Just think how much fun it's going to be this Fall when there is water in the creek? At least you will know where all the rocks are ::015::

It gives me a headache thinking about all that jarring. Must have been awful happy to see the end of that creek bed.

Nice job, it's good to know what's possible on this bike....for some other riders ::025::
