Last weekend was our second annual CoSTOC event. We held it in Manitou Springs which is in the heart of the Pikes Peak region and a lot of neat roads - both paved and unpaved.
Took rides every day we were there - some all pavement and some a mixture. A couple of my favorites are a pair of roads from Cripple Creek down to Canon City. The first is the "Shelf Road" and it is my favorite. The second is Phantom Canyon and it is also a nice road - a little better maintained and consequently, more traffic.
A little about each road can be found here.
We also picked up Skyline Drive while we were in the area. Although all paved, it has some great overlooks!
We also took a nice loop ride up CO105 and over to Sedalia, Deckers and back to the motel via Woodland Park and Ute Pass.
All great riding and great weather!! Had about 40 bikes present and a little over 50 show up for the banquet Saturday night.
